Meet Vanya Marinova
Professional experience.
Teaching with substance.
Vanya Marinova is a professionally trained pianist, accompanist and piano teacher with extensive experience in higher music education and professional performance.
For more than 15 years, she worked as a pianist and coach at the National Academy of Music in Sofia. She also served as a pianist for the Bulgarian National Radio Mixed Choir, working with professional singers, conductors and ensembles on major classical and choral works.
Since moving to the Netherlands, Vanya has taught children, teenagers and adults in Amsterdam and Zaandam. Her lessons combine solid piano technique, music reading, theory, listening skills and artistic interpretation.
Every student receives a structured programme suited to their level, interests and goals, from first steps at the piano to ABRSM examination preparation and confident public performance.

The first 20-minute trial lesson is free. After the trial, lessons are paid in advance in three school-term instalments.
Package validity +
Payments cover school weeks only. School holidays are free, except for agreed make-up lessons.
Cancellation & rescheduling +
Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. A make-up lesson may be arranged within the same school term, subject to availability.
Lesson duration & locations +
Amsterdam home lessons last 60 minutes and cost €85, including travel within Amsterdam. In Zaandam, lessons take place at Fluxus or in the teacher’s private home studio. Rates outside Amsterdam are agreed in advance.
